Boilers
Modern central heating systems are now far more efficient & advanced than they were even ten years ago, but with our modern, progressive outlook coupled with continued product training with boiler manufactures we are equally at home with the oldest heating system, as we are with the current Condensing and Combination boilers

Combination Boiler
The principle of Combination Boilers has been around for years on the Continent, but has only taken off in the UK within the last fifteen years when the Water Authorities had a change of policy. They now account for a very large part of boiler sales, gas & oil. The benefits are substantial fuel savings, high efficiency, versatility in positioning the appliance and ease of installation. A by-product is that a Combination Boiler installation will free up airing cupboard space, remove the need for tanks in the attic and supply unlimited hot water on demand.

Condensing Boilers
Condensing boilers are designed to make real savings on your heating bills. Savings between 20-30% are possible, and if replacing an old inefficient system this could be even higher.

In conventional boilers, approximately one third of the heat you have paid for goes out to the open air through the flue. In a high efficiency condensing boiler more than half of that previously wasted heat is recovered. In other words, it is recycled which means that the efficiency of these appliances can reach up to 93-95% in 'condensing mode'. Condensing boilers are the most efficient heating appliance in the energy-conscious 1990s.

Servicing
It is important to ensure that boiler what ever the age is regularly serviced. Not only does this increase the efficiency, it will also prolong the life of the boiler.
It is also necessary to chemically flush out the heating system, from time to time this also increase the efficiency of the boiler.
